This box set was from the original release of this set and it contains a replica of the son's signatures and not that of Alexander Dumas the Senior for whom the set was dedicated, this was an error which Mont Blanc later corrected and offered collectors with the son's signatures the opportunity to swap their pens for the correct signature. This set was not sent back to Mont Blanc for correction and retains the original pens with the incorrect signature of Alexander Dumas’s son.
